Esa-Oke Rejects PDP: Governor Adeleke and Diran Odeyemi Face Backlash
The political structure in Ward 7, Ẹsa Òkè, has collapsed under the weight of betrayal and neglect. The people have spoken — and they have clearly turned their backs on Diran Odeyemi and the PDP.

Diran Odeyemi, once seen as a voice for the people, now stands alone, abandoned by indigene of Esa Oke, who no longer see purpose in a leadership tied to failure and silence in the face of injustice. His political influence has crumbled as support has shifted massively to the APC.

Hon Oluwole Oke, HE Adeleke
The real wound, however, lies in the hands of Governor Ademola Adeleke. Esa-Oke, a proud and historic town, has been repeatedly insulted under his leadership. No single indigene was appointed into the governing council of Osun State College of Technology (OSCOTECH), located right in their own land. Instead, outsiders are rewarded while the true sons and daughters of the soil are ignored.
Even more painful is the alleged crowning of a non-indigene as king in a suburb of Ẹsa Òkè — a move seen as a direct slap on the town’s tradition and dignity. Reports of the palace built by Hon. Oluwole Oke being demolished, and the car he donated to the king being burnt, have only deepened the anger.
Esa-Oke has lost all faith in Governor Adeleke’s government. The people are done with empty promises and blatant disrespect.
Now, the shift is clear. All eyes are turning to the All Progressives Congress (APC), and to Asiwaju Bola Mudashiru — a man known for standing with the people and ready to contest for governor in 2026.
Esa-Oke deserves better. Osun deserves respect.
