Farmer Expresses Anger After Herdsmen Destroy 20 Acres of Cassava Farm in Ogun State

A farmer in Ijebu Igbo, Ogun State, has taken to social media to voice his frustration after suspected Fulani herdsmen reportedly destroyed his 20-acre cassava farm.
Describing the incident, he shared:
“Yesterday, I visited my farm and was shocked to find the devastation caused by wandering Fulani herdsmen on our 20-acre cassava plantation. Despite having invested in chain-link fencing around the farm’s perimeter, these intruders managed to breach the security overnight, causing significant damage. I now fully comprehend the ongoing farmer-herder conflict in the country.”
He further explained that the farm had just completed the corn harvest, leaving only the cassava crop to mature. Sadly, the herdsmen allegedly invaded the farm during the night, destroying all the remaining plants.
