Former AGF Abubakar Malami Leaves APC, Joins ADC
Dear Nigerians and the Honorable People of Kebbi State,

After extensive deliberation and sincere introspection, I officially announce my resignation from the All Progressives Congress (APC). I have chosen to align myself with the African Democratic Congress (ADC), the political platform that represents the coalition determined to steer our nation away from its current challenges.

This decision is not borne out of frustration or personal ambition but stems from a deep love for Nigeria and genuine concern for the hardships facing our citizens every day.
Our nation is facing a crisis. Insecurity has gripped our communities, particularly in the North, where banditry, kidnappings, and terrorism have become all too common. Sadly, the government seems more focused on political maneuvering than ensuring the safety and well-being of its people.
Economically, the situation is dire. The cost of living has skyrocketed, with basic food items now out of reach for many families. Employment opportunities are dwindling, and young Nigerians are losing hope. Instead of addressing these critical issues, the government is distracted by propaganda and political games.
Effective governance has been abandoned. Key decisions, appointments, and development projects are influenced by political favoritism rather than the national good. I cannot, in good conscience, remain part of a system that silently watches our people suffer.
For these reasons, I am proud to join the ADC — a party rooted in principles of justice, inclusivity, competence, and genuine national progress. Together, with the support of all Nigerians, I believe we can forge a new path toward a brighter future.
To the people of Kebbi State, I remain your devoted son and servant. This move is meant to strengthen your voice, safeguard your interests, and bring renewed hope to our shared destiny.
To every Nigerian, I call on you to join this movement. Let us overcome fear and take back the future of our nation. Nigeria belongs to all of us.
May God bless Kebbi State. May God bless Nigeria.
