FRSC Issues Warning Against Convering Number Plates
The Special Marshall members of the Bauchi State Sector Command of the FRSC issued a warning during their monthly meeting on Saturday.
At the meeting, Deputy State Coordinator of the Special Marshall, Godwin Obioha, praised members for their teamwork and encouraged them to continue their dedicated efforts for the benefit of society. He expressed concern over the tendency of some car owners, especially political officeholders and their aides, to flout traffic laws as if they are exempt from them.
Obioha committed to working with the Regular Marshal to crack down on all violators, in accordance with the country’s traffic regulations. He emphasized that those who continue to disobey traffic rules will face legal consequences when caught.
Additionally, he announced that the group’s focus will now be on identifying and addressing the issue of covered number plates during their weekly patrols and called on motorists to comply with the regulations.
