How Israeli Airstrikes kills Over 20 Palestinian in Refugee Camps

In recent days, Israeli airstrikes on Gaza refugee camps have resulted in significant casualties. According to the Palestinian Wafa news agency, the strikes have killed 15 civilians in Jabalia and at least 20 in Nuseirat.

These attacks are among the deadliest in recent weeks, hitting areas densely populated with displaced Palestinians. Residents are fleeing to escape intense bombardments.

“Today is the most difficult in terms of the occupation bombardment; air strikes and tank shelling have been almost non-stop,” said Jabalia resident Ibrahim Khaled in a chat with France24.

Both refugee camps, under siege for several days, are experiencing severe shortages of essential supplies like food, water, and medical resources. This has left many families in dire situations, with rescue teams struggling to reach the wounded and retrieve bodies.

A video circulating on social media shows the aftermath of the strikes on the Jabalia camp, capturing scenes of civilians fleeing and injuries sustained in the attacks. Hani Almadhoun, director of UNRWA USA, highlighted the desperate situation in a post, stating that bodies are piling up in the streets near Temraz Gas station, where volunteers attempting to recover the deceased are also targeted.

Since the escalation on October 7, local health authorities report that the ongoing Israeli assault has resulted in 35,386 Palestinian deaths and 79,366 injuries, with the majority of victims being women and children.
