Rev. Fr. Oliver Buba, a priest with the Yola Catholic Diocese, has been abducted by unknown gunmen.
The incident reportedly took place early Tuesday morning at the rectory of St. Rita’s Catholic Church in Bare, Numan Local Government Area of Adamawa State.
This information was shared in a statement by Most Rev. Dr. Stephen Dami Mamza, the Catholic Bishop of Yola Diocese.
Bishop Mamza has called on all Christian faithful and people of goodwill to fervently pray for the swift and safe return of Rev. Fr. Buba.
