“‘I’m Prepared for War’ – Dele Farotimi Challenges Afe Babalola”

Dele Farotimi, the activist lawyer, has boldly declared that he is ready for a fight, stating that his “battle axes are sharpened” and his “guns are primed” for the battle ahead.
In a social media post, Farotimi expressed his unwavering resolve, saying he is strong enough to confront even the most powerful forces, yet humble enough to appreciate the support of those who have stood by him.
“I am strong enough to face any challenge, unshaken by the forces that may come against me. But I also remain human enough to shed tears of gratitude for the grace of God and the solidarity of fellow victims,” Farotimi wrote.
“My battle axes are ready, and my weapons are set. I am prepared for the war ahead.”
Farotimi also stated that his determination was never in question, revealing that he had been awaiting the next phase of the fight, confident that the first round was lost by those who were responsible for his imprisonment.
Weeks ago, a Chief Magistrate Court in Ado Ekiti had granted Farotimi a N30 million bail after his arrest on charges of defaming Afe Babalola, a prominent Senior Advocate of Nigeria and founder of Afe Babalola University, Ado Ekiti (ABUAD). Farotimi was released after fulfilling his bail conditions.
