Imam Sparks Debate with Strong Defense of Controversial Jesus Banner at Lekki Mosque

An Imam has addressed the controversy surrounding a banner at the Lekki Central Mosque in Lagos. He emphasized that Jesus is not regarded as God in Islam and highlighted that, as Jesus (known as Isa in Arabic) is recognized as a Prophet in the Quran, Christians do not have exclusive claim over Him.

The Imam also pointed out that many Muslims carry the name Jesus (Isa) as part of their identity.
