JAMB Set New Date and Give Reasons for Postponing Registration for 2025 UTME ; See Date

The commencement of the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) registration has been postponed to Monday, February 3, 2025, instead of the previously scheduled date of Friday, January 31, 2025.
This delay is necessary to allow the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) to make crucial updates to the registration system. These updates follow recent developments, including the suspension of certain law programs at specific universities, as advised by the Council for Legal Education. Additionally, the Board identified irregularities concerning the approval of some Computer-Based Test (CBT) centres, leading to further scrutiny and the disqualification of those centres.
JAMB understands the inconvenience this may cause for candidates and other concerned parties and extends its apologies. The extra time will be used to ensure that all adjustments are properly made to facilitate a seamless registration experience.
