Ka3na Sparks Controversy After Sharing Edited Wedding Photo With Davido

Reality TV star Ka3na Jones, known from Big Brother Naija, has triggered a wave of online backlash after posting a photoshopped image of herself with Nigerian music icon Davido. The edited image was taken from Davido’s extravagant white wedding to his longtime partner, Chioma, held recently in Miami.

The high-profile ceremony—tagged #ChividoMiami2025—followed their traditional wedding in Lagos and was graced by notable figures, including billionaire Aliko Dangote and music stars like D’banj and Adekunle Gold.
Ka3na’s Post Draws Mixed Reactions
Ka3na stirred the internet by sharing an altered version of one of the official wedding photos. In the image, she replaced Chioma’s face with her own and captioned it:
> “Bloggers be out here photoshopping my wedding pics… Here’s the real photo. Y’all made our day so special ❤️ #chivido2025. Congratulations to the bride and groom @davido @thechefchi.”
While some viewed the post as a cheeky joke, others didn’t find it amusing. Many users criticized Ka3na for what they considered an inappropriate and disrespectful gesture, especially given the recency and significance of the event.
Backlash in the Comments
Her comment section was quickly filled with disapproval:
@vivian_iso: “Why would you replace someone’s face on her own wedding photo? This is crossing a line.”
@queen_rina03: “Some of you really don’t understand the responsibility that comes with fame.”
@i.am.teeey: “Imagine if they take legal action. This is someone’s husband, show some decorum.”
@oluwanifemi_ou: “This isn’t content. This is just plain disrespect. Take it down.”
Audience Divided
Despite the backlash, some of Ka3na’s followers defended her, suggesting the post was meant in jest and shouldn’t be taken too seriously.
As of now, Ka3na has not made any further comments regarding the controversy.
