Kano State Censorship Board Suspends Actress Samha M. Inuwa Over Controversial Videos and Outfit

The Kano State Censorship Board has imposed a one-year suspension on renowned Kannywood actress Samha M. Inuwa, citing concerns over her provocative videos and revealing attire.

The board stated that the suspension followed multiple complaints from members of the public about the actress’s inappropriate dress and the controversial content she shared on social media.
In an official statement, Abdullahi Sani Sulaiman, the Information Officer for the Kano State Censorship Board, noted that Samha had been previously warned on several occasions regarding her “inappropriate dressing, vulgar conduct, and language” in some of her videos. The board emphasized that her actions violated cultural, moral, and ethical norms.
Along with the suspension, the board has revoked Samha’s license and declared it would no longer approve any films featuring her.
“The Kano State Censorship Board is legally tasked with ensuring that all forms of media and expression in the state adhere to the region’s religious, cultural, and social values,” the statement read.
The suspension is part of the board’s continued efforts to maintain moral integrity within the Kannywood film industry and enforce its
standards.
