KRAD Pledges to Transform Erin-Ijesa Waterfalls into a World-Class Tourism Hub

Kunle Rasheed Adegoke (KRAD), a frontline governorship aspirant under the All Progressives Congress (APC), has reiterated his commitment to repositioning Osun State as a leading destination for tourism in Nigeria, with special focus on Erin-Ijesa Waterfalls.
Addressing stakeholders of Oriade/Obokun APC, KRAD emphasized that Erin-Ijesa remains one of the most iconic natural treasures in the country, yet its potential has not been fully harnessed. He assured that under his administration, strategic reforms and investments would be made to transform the site into a world-class tourism centre capable of generating employment, boosting local businesses, and attracting both local and international visitors.
KRAD outlined key plans, including modern infrastructure development, improved access roads, enhanced security measures, eco-friendly facilities, and effective promotion of the waterfalls as a global brand. He further stressed the importance of strong partnerships with private investors, local communities, and international tourism bodies to sustain the growth of the sector.
“Tourism is not just about leisure; it is a powerful driver of economic development. Erin-Ijesa will no longer be a hidden jewel but a shining pride of Osun and Nigeria at large,” he declared.
Stakeholders at the meeting applauded KRAD’s vision, noting that his sincerity and clarity of purpose offered renewed hope for sustainable development in Oriade, Obokun, and the entire state.
