Lady Arrested For Brutalizing Private Part Of 12-Year-Old Girl
Ogun Woman Arrested for Assaulting 12-Year-Old Girl with Firewood
A 25-year-old woman, Temitope Adetanju, has been taken into custody for allegedly using a piece of firewood to assault a 12-year-old girl in Isewo, Obada Oko, within the Ewekoro Local Government Area of Ogun State. The girl, whose name is withheld, was accused of stealing items valued at N650 in total, including a biscuit (N200), Milo (N150), and Mr. Fruit (N300).
The incident, reported by the DAILY POST, involved severe physical punishment administered by the girl’s guardian as a consequence of the alleged theft.
Ogun State police spokesperson Omolola Odutola confirmed the incident occurred at approximately 11:00 am on Thursday, June 13, 2024. The Divisional Police Officer in Obada-Oko arrested Adetanju for her actions.
Odutola detailed, “On June 13, 2024, Temitope Adetanju, a 25-year-old woman, was detained by the Obada-Oko DPO for allegedly inserting a large piece of firewood into the genital area of a 12-year-old girl, accusing her of stealing a biscuit, Milo, and Mr. Fruit valued at N650.”
Following the report, officers from the Juvenile Welfare Center were dispatched to arrest Adetanju. The suspect reportedly admitted to the allegations. Investigations are currently underway to fully examine the circumstances of the incident.
