Lagos Police Recover Over 100 Stolen Luxury Vehicles Valued at ₦2 Billion

Efforts by the Lagos State Police Command under Commissioner of Police, CP Jimoh Moshood, have led to a major breakthrough in combating vehicle theft across the state. In a series of coordinated sting operations, officers recovered more than 100 high-end stolen vehicles, with an estimated value exceeding ₦2 billion.

This was revealed during a press briefing held at the Command Headquarters in Ikeja, as reported by P.M. EXPRESS. CP Moshood confirmed that 30 of the recovered vehicles—primarily SUVs—are currently secured at the Command premises, while the remaining 70 are being kept in the Ikorodu area due to space constraints.

The Commissioner praised the dedication of the officers involved in the operations and acknowledged the crucial role that community members have played in supporting the Police through timely information and cooperation.

According to him, the success of the operation is a direct result of improved security strategies and stronger community engagement, which continue to bolster law enforcement efforts in

Lagos.
