Moment Eko Hotel staff shows off $10k reward from Davido {Video}
FCGs reports that Davido, the Afrobeats star, has fulfilled his $10,000 pledge to a hotel employee who returned money misplaced by a customer.
Few weeks ago, Ngozi, a staff member at Eko Hotels and Suites in Lagos was reported to have returned $70,000 that had been misplaced by one of the hotel’s customers.
In response to Ngozi’s selfless act, the Davido offered to give her $10,000.
Ngozi confirmed receiving the cash reward from Davido in a now-viral video shared on Twitter.
The delighted lady expressed her gratitude to the singer and prayed for him.
“Thank you very much Davido. God bless you, I got the money. It is rare, so rare,” she said
“Your career, pluto will hear of you. They will play your music beyond. God is the one that has blessed you and he will keep blessing you, keep lifting you.
“Like I said before, anyone that rises against you will surely be destroyed. David you are going to be so great.”
The OBO Crooner is well-known for his acts of kindness and philanthropy.
Davido recently donated N237 million to various orphanage homes across Nigeria.
In addition, the singer reaffirmed his commitment to “continually assist the less fortunate in any capacity.”
