Nigeria’s First ‘Airport Wedding’ at Murtala Muhammed Airport Terminal 2

Murtala Muhammed Airport Terminal 2 (MMA2) in Lagos will make history by hosting Nigeria’s inaugural airport wedding.
Scheduled for Saturday, June 29, 2024, the wedding will take place in the terminal’s ticketing hall. The couple, Alli Olamide Miracle and Agboola Abiodun Qudus, will exchange vows amid the hustle and bustle of airport activity, surrounded by family, friends, and well-wishers.
The event, named ‘My Airport Wedding,’ is designed to celebrate love and highlight MMA2 as a versatile space beyond its primary function as a flight terminal.
Ajoke Yinka-Olawuyi, Head of Corporate Communications at Bi-Courtney Aviation Services Limited (BASL), expressed excitement about the event, noting that it will make a significant impact on both the aviation and entertainment industries.
“We are excited to pioneer this unique event at MMA2,” Yinka-Olawuyi said. “It demonstrates our dedication to innovation and creating memorable experiences for our passengers and terminal users.”
The ceremony is expected to attract significant attention from local and international audiences, showcasing Nigeria’s growing influence in the global aviation sector. Both in-person attendees and virtual participants will witness a unique blend of romance and the dynamic environment of an airport terminal.
“With our slogan ‘More than a terminal,’ Bi-Courtney continues to redefine airport experiences,” Yinka-Olawuyi added. “This event underscores our commitment to offering more than just travel convenience.”
FIRST CLASS GISTS notes that MMA2 is Nigeria’s first and only privately-funded airport, operated by Bi-Courtney Aviation Services Limited.
