Not a Stooge, but a Strategist: The Real Story of Asiwaju Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji(AMBO)

As the Osun APC Governorship aspirant, Bola Oyebamiji, continues to garner attention, whispers of him being a stooge of former Governor Alhaji Gboyega Oyetola have begun to circulate. But is it fair to judge a man by his associations, or should we look at his impressive profile and credentials?
With a career spanning over three decades, Oyebamiji has built a reputation as a seasoned banker, economist, and public administrator. His impressive resume includes stints as Managing Director, Omoluabi Holdings Limited, two-term Commissioner of Finance, Osun State, and currently, the Managing Director/CEO of the National Inland Waterways Authority.
Oyebamiji’s expertise in finance and economic management is undeniable. He played a key role in stabilizing Osun State’s economy under Oyetola’s administration, ensuring regular salary payments and attracting several awards for the state’s progress. His commitment to humanity earned him the Islamic honour of “Noble”, reflecting his sound human relations and steadfastness in the Progressives camp.
Why, then, are we feigning ignorance of Oyebamiji steadiness in the Progressives camp? Why are we not acknowledging his credentials, which speak to his trust and confidence in re-engineering Osun State’s economy? His academic qualifications are unquestionable, and his human relations are exemplary.
Is it natural to envy progress, but irrational to make steady progress a point of castigation? Shouldn’t we be considering Oyebamiji’s profile, which has contributed significantly to Osun State’s development? No, Bola Oyebamiji really stands out – his track record, integrity, and vision for Osun’s future make him a compelling candidate for the Governorship seat. With all the aforementioned about this towering man; surely, he is the right man to lead Osun to prosperity.
