A tragic incident occurred in the Busa Buji community of Jos North Local Government Area, Plateau State, where a school building collapsed, trapping numerous students inside.Â

The collapse happened at approximately 11 am on Friday while students of Saint Academy were in the midst of writing their exams. Eyewitnesses reported the sudden cave-in of the building, causing panic and chaos.

As news of the collapse spread, distraught parents rushed to the school, expressing their anguish and fear for their children’s safety.
Rescue efforts are currently underway, with security forces including soldiers and police on the scene. However, operations have faced challenges, including a rescue truck getting stuck in the mud en route to the site.
