Plane with 62 Passengers Crashes(VIDEO)

Voepass, a Brazilian airline, has confirmed that one of its planes, carrying 62 individuals, crashed in Vinhedo, near São Paulo.

The airline stated on Friday that they currently lack details about the status of those on board. Brazilian President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva expressed his condolences on social media, indicating that it is feared all passengers may have perished, though no additional details were provided. “Very sad news,” he wrote, extending his sympathy to the victims’ families and friends.
Details from the Brazilian airport authority are still pending, but Globo reported that images of the wreckage show the plane engulfed in flames. The aircraft was reported to have 58 passengers and 4 crew members on board.
Emergency services, including firefighters, military police, and the civil defense authority, have been deployed to the crash site. Federal Police General Director Andrei Passos mentioned that a specialized investigation and forensics team has been sent to assist in identifying the victims.
According to Flightradar24, the aircraft involved was an ATR72-500 model, built in 2010, and was traveling from Cascavel airport in Paraná to São Paulo. São Paulo Governor Tarcísio de Freitas is also en route to the scene.
