President Tinubu Appoints Former Katsina Governor Aminu Masari as TETFund Board Chairman

President Bola Tinubu has named former Katsina State Governor Aminu Masari as the new Chairman of the Tertiary Education Trust Fund (TETFund) Board. This appointment was announced in a statement released on Tuesday by Ajuri Ngelale, the presidential spokesperson, and reported by News360 Nigeria.
In addition to Masari, six other individuals have been appointed to the TETFund board:
– Senator Sani Danladi
– Mr. Sunday Adepoju
– Mr. Nurudeen Adeyemi
– Mrs. Esther Onyinyechukwu Ukachukwu
– Mr. Turaki Ibrahim
– Mr. Aboh Eduyok
These appointments are part of President Tinubu’s initiative to enhance the governance and efficiency of TETFund, aiming to better support tertiary education in Nigeria. The President has expressed his expectation that the new board members will be dedicated to advancing TETFund’s mission to improve the quality and productivity of higher education.
