Actor Saidi Balogun Raises Alarm Over Economic Hardship

Nollywood actor Saidi Balogun has voiced his concerns regarding Nigeria’s current economic climate. In an Instagram post, Balogun, a notable supporter of President Tinubu during the 2023 election, questioned the effectiveness of the country’s price control and regulatory agencies. He sought clarity on how the government plans to address the rising inflation and its impact on individuals and businesses.
Balogun underscored the urgency of implementing measures to counteract the escalating prices and expressed frustration over the situation, which he described as spiraling out of control.
“Is there an effective price control or regulatory body in Nigeria? What steps are being taken to mitigate inflation? The situation is becoming unmanageable,” he stated.
