Primate Ayodele Predicts Gang Up Against Removal of Akpabio’ as Senate President

Primate Ayodele
On Saturday, Primate Elijah Ayodele, the leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, issued a warning about a potential coalition aimed at ousting Senate President Godswill Akpabio.
In a video shared on social media, Ayodele attributed the looming threat to Akpabio’s handling of his statements, suggesting they could lead to a loss of respect for the Senate. He expressed concerns that Akpabio’s perceived incompetence could foster division within the legislative body.
“Akpabio needs to exercise caution, as a coalition may soon form to remove him if he fails to manage his comments effectively,” Ayodele stated. He warned that Akpabio’s actions could lead to disrespect toward the Senate, and those representing the people’s voice would not tolerate it.
“There will be a divide in the Senate due to Akpabio’s mismanagement. He may instigate his own downfall, despite the role of the Senate President as merely a representative of the government. This Senate is unlikely to effect change; expect a tumultuous session ahead,” he added.
