In every generation, a few people rise above personal ambition and focus their energy on helping others grow, thrive, and succeed. Prince (Dr) Olaleye Thomas Ogungbangbe, fondly known as Tom-Perry, is one of such rare people. As he is ready to contest for the Osun East Senatorial seat, we at Ogungbangbe Movement Media Team (OMMT) are proud to present and support a man who has consistently shown love, leadership, and genuine concern for the well-being of his people.
Prince Ogungbangbe is not just a businessman or politician; he is a servant-leader, a mentor, and a philanthropist. His life story is deeply rooted in service and impact. For so long, Prince Ogungbangbe has used his resources to empower the youth, support the vulnerable, and uplift families in Osun East and beyond.

A Heart for Education and Youth Empowerment

Prince Ogungbangbe believes education is the most powerful tool to change a life. That is why he has sponsored countless students through school, from secondary school(Sponsoring JAMBITE) to university level, across Osun State. Through his foundation, he has provided full Ph.D. scholarships to Osun indigenes and given financial support to other outstanding students who otherwise couldn’t afford to further their studies.
In April 2025, his foundation held its biennial scholarship award ceremony, where PhD scholars, undergraduate students, and their proud parents gathered to celebrate him, as a leader who truly values education. These scholarships are not just payments, they are life-changing opportunities for the beneficiaries.
Giving Back to the Community
When the people of Osun East were struggling, Prince Ogungbangbe did not stand aside. In 2018, he distributed 2,000 food palliatives across all local governments in the senatorial district through NULGE, bringing relief to many homes.
He donated Electric Transformers to Lagos & Abuja Airports, in 2015 and constructed & donated multiple Worship Centers across Nigeria
Prince Ogungbangbe donated cash gifts to the Port Harcourt & Warri member communities
He awarded a $100,000 research grant to the University of Ilorin to undertake the study of microbial contamination on aviation fuel
In 2016, he donated 20,000 vials of pain relief injections to the Osun State Government, supporting the health sector without fanfare.
In 2022, he built the #300 million road network leading to Mallam Aminu Kano International Airport, an act of pure selflessness that improved transportation and commerce in the region.
A Leader Who Listens, Acts, and Empowers
Prince Ogungbangbe has proven over the years that he is not a man of empty promises. He is a leader who listens to people’s needs and takes action. From donating refueling kits to the Nigerian Air Force to funding $100,000 for aviation fuel safety research at the University of Ilorin, his generosity cuts across different sectors of society.
As the Chairman and CEO of CITA Energies, he has also mentored hundreds of young professionals across Nigeria, offering them guidance, training, and opportunities to succeed. His approach is to lift others.
