According to a statement issued by Prince Thomas Olaleye Ogungbangbe, PhD, an aspirant contesting for the Senate seat of Osun East, the words of Prophet Muhammad (SAW) remind us that:
“Happy is the man who avoids hardship, but how fine is the man who is afflicted and shows endurance.”
Prince Thomas Ogungbangbe urged all Muslims, both Mumin and Muminat, to draw strength from the example of the Prophet by remaining steadfast in the face of challenges and enduring hardships with patience. He expressed confidence that Almighty Allah will guide and support those faithful through their trials.
In the statement, Prince Thomas also prayed for forgiveness of sins, acceptance of worship, and divine guidance to fulfil heartfelt desires.
