The three individuals shown in this video played a crucial role in alerting authorities about the smuggled rice and petrol confiscated by Customs officers between Tuesday and Wednesday in Oja-Odan.

But how did the smugglers learn the identities of these whistleblowers? How did their information get exposed, leading to brutal retaliation against them?

What does this say about the effectiveness of your so-called anti-smuggling operations when providing a tip to you seems to carry the same risk as informing the smugglers themselves?

Which Customs officers are responsible for leaking the identities of these informants?

And will there be any justice for the thugs who subjected these individuals to such inhumane treatment, or will they escape punishment?

We all know the likely answers. This is why I’ve taken to calling you the “Nigeria Customs Smuggling Service.”
