See How Husband Bathes Wife With Hot Oil, Stabs Her During Argument in Ogun State

Operatives of Owode Egba Police Division have arrested a man named Sholola Kazeem for allegedly pouring hot oil on his wife and stabbing her in the head during an argument in Ogun State.
DAILY POST learnt that the suspect, in a fit of anger, carried out the dastardly act at their residence in the Ring Road community of Owode Egba Local Government Area of the state.
The police spokesperson, Omolola Odutola, told DAILY POST that members of the community reported the incident at about 12:20 pm on Saturday.
Upon receiving the information, the Divisional Police Officer in Owode Egba took swift action, visited the scene, and arrested the suspect.
Odutola said: “On 18 January 2025, at about 12:20 hours, the Divisional Police Officer received a report from members of the Ring Road community regarding an incident involving Sholola Kazeem, a male resident, and his wife, Sholola Mutiat, who reside at the same address.
“It was reported that Sholola Kazeem, in an uncontrollable fit of anger over a misunderstanding, poured hot oil over his wife’s body and also stabbed her in the head.”
Odutola noted that the victim was rushed to Ore Ofe Hospital for medical examination.
She added that the crime scene was examined and an investigation is ongoing to uncover all the details surrounding the incident.
