See How Man was killed by hit-and-run driver in Lagos

Tragedy struck at Onipanu bus stop near Fadeyi, along Funsho-Williams Avenue, Lagos, when an unidentified adult male was killed in a hit-and-run accident late Saturday evening.Â
The incident occurred around 8:15 p.m. despite attempts to save the victim’s life. Dr. Femi Oke-Osanyitolu, Permanent Secretary of the Lagos State Emergency Management Agency (LASEMA), reported that the man died while being treated at the Trauma Centre in Gbagada, Lagos.
LASEMA’s Response Team found that the victim had been struck by an unknown vehicle whose driver fled the scene immediately. The victim sustained severe head injuries and received prompt medical care from the agency’s param
edics.
