See How Taraba Police Constable was Sacked for Stealing Goat

The Nigeria Police Force has officially terminated the appointment of a constable serving in Taraba State after he was found guilty of stealing a goat.
In a formal communication from the Commissioner of Police, Department of Force Administration (DFA) Jalingo, addressed to the Divisional Police Officer at Mutum Biyu, the officer in question was identified as PC Usman Mohammed, who was assigned to the Mutum Biyu Division.
The dismissal came after a thorough disciplinary process and was carried out in line with the provisions of the Police Act and Regulation 370, Cap 389 of the 2010 Laws of the Federation (as amended).
This misconduct falls under paragraph ‘E’ of the First Schedule of the Police Act, which warrants immediate removal from service. Consequently, Mohammed’s employment was ended with immediate effect.
Police management has also instructed that all official equipment issued to him—including his police ID card—be collected promptly, his salary payments halted, and his service record updated to reflect the dismissal.
