See Reasons Lecturer Cuts Nursing Students’ Braids Hair

A nursing student recently shared a surprising video showing her lecturer cutting her long braids, along with those of other students, after they returned from the holiday break.
The student, who had returned to class with an eye-catching and festive hairstyle, was confronted by the lecturer’s decision to cut her hair. The school’s dress code prohibits such elaborate hairstyles, especially as they may pose hygiene and safety risks in clinical settings.
A comment from an online user quickly went viral: “This is what happens when you don’t understand that every profession has its own codes and ethics. For example, nurses wearing long braids while attending to patients in hospitals or clinics isn’t appropriate. Knowing your profession’s standards helps you avoid situations like this.”
