See Reasons Pastor Adeboye Calls for the Release of TikTok Influencer SeaKing After Arrest Over Online Insults Towards him

Pastor Enoch Adeboye, the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), has urged for the release of Olumide Ogunsanwo, popularly known as ‘SeaKing,’ a TikTok influencer who was arrested on Thursday, February 6, for allegedly making online insults toward the pastor.
Speaking during a service at his church on Friday, February 7, Pastor Adeboye clarified that he was not involved in the TikToker’s arrest. He explained that individuals angered by SeaKing’s comments took matters into their own hands.
“I heard that someone severely criticized me. But what did I do wrong? I simply asked my church members to observe a 100-day fast. I didn’t make that request of anyone outside the Redeemed Christian Church of God. It was only for my children,” he said. “God had foretold that this would happen. I was informed that some people were upset and decided to have him arrested. I ask that he be released; he is merely fulfilling prophecy.”
