See the challenges Primate Ayodele Predicts for President Tinubu’s Second Term

On Saturday, Primate Elijah Ayodele, the leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, issued a warning that President Bola Tinubu is not the transformative leader Nigeria needs.
Primate Ayodele stated that while Tinubu’s administration may bolster Nigeria’s democratic institutions, it is unlikely to bring significant improvements to the country’s economy.
Speaking to journalists in Lagos, Ayodele also predicted that Tinubu would face substantial obstacles in seeking re-election for a second term.
He expressed doubts about the effectiveness of state police in addressing Nigeria’s security issues. According to Ayodele, some politicians might exploit state police forces to exacerbate insecurity rather than alleviate it.
“Tinubu is not Nigeria’s messiah; he is here to accomplish a few things, primarily to strengthen our democracy,” Ayodele stated. “Economically, we will continue to face hardships and confusion until 2025.”
Regarding national security, Ayodele commented, “Even with competent Service Chiefs, if their efforts do not improve, insecurity will persist. Introducing state police is not a solution; it could even worsen the situation as politicians might use it to further their own agendas. Suspending the idea of state police for now is advisable.”
