See the number that were shot as one person was kidnapped during a bank robbery in Delta State.
Unidentified gunmen targeted a commercial bank in Ughelli, trailing a customer who was about to make a deposit. The robbers blocked the customer outside the bank, but were met with resistance from the Delta State Police Command operatives.
According to videos shared by social media user #eonsintelligence, the incident took place at a branch of the United Bank for Africa in Ughelli. The gunmen started their operation shortly after the customer entered the bank, initiating a confrontation with the police officers stationed there.
The ensuing gunfight prevented the robbers from entering the bank. During the clash, two people were shot and one was abducted. The robbers fled the scene in a gold-colored Toyota Venza. The injured victims were taken to an undisclosed hospital for treatment.
