See what Vice President, Shetima Said About Tinubu’s fall during June 12 celebration

Vice President Kashim Shettima has expressed deep disappointment over the reactions to President Bola Tinubu’s slip during the Democracy Day celebrations on June 12. While attempting to step onto a military parade vehicle at Eagle Square, President Tinubu lost his balance and nearly fell onto the Land Rover, prompting widespread mockery on social media.

Addressing the issue at a PEBEC Town Hall meeting held in the Banquet Hall of the Presidential Villa, Shettima criticized those who ridiculed the president. He stated, “The reactions to the president’s stumble during the June 12 celebration are not just disheartening and disenchanting but also deeply troubling and heartbreaking. It is unfortunate that some of our fellow citizens chose to celebrate this incident.”
