Shettima Affirms Unwavering Commitment to Nigeria’s Digital Revolution; Give Reasons

Vice President Kashim Shettima has underscored the administration’s unwavering dedication to transforming Nigeria’s digital economy. He assured that President Bola Tinubu’s agenda is progressing as planned, bolstered by essential support, initiatives, and strategic partnerships.

Shettima emphasized the government’s openness to collaborating with all interested partners and stakeholders who are committed to Nigeria’s development. He expressed confidence that the nation is on the brink of achieving a prominent global standing.

This assurance came during a meeting with Bimbo Ashiru, Chairman of Odua Investment Company Limited, at the Presidential Villa. Shettima commended the company for its significant investments in agriculture, digital economy, and micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs).

A presidential statement highlighted Shettima’s belief in the critical role these sectors play in Nigeria’s economic growth and future. He praised the South West region for its potential to drive national progress, attributing this to its substantial resources and the impactful policies of President Tinubu.

Additionally, Shettima criticized the previous misuse of fuel subsidies and manipulated exchange rates as detrimental to Nigeria’s economic stability, calling them significant burdens on the nation.
