Faduri was asked about the biggest problem facing the Labour Party today. He didn’t hesitate to point to the leadership crisis by Peter Obi within the party. According to him, the lack of unity and clear leadership has forced the party to throw its presidential ticket open. This move, he explained, is a result of ongoing disputes and factional struggles that threaten the party’s stability.

He particularly highlighted the issues with the faction led by Abure, describing their recent conference as illegitimate since the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) did not oversee the event. Faduri has been actively working to resolve these leadership conflicts, aiming to bring together the different groups under one strong and united leadership.

When asked about the recent meeting between Abure and Nyesome Wike, the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Faduri said he was unaware of the reasons behind the gathering. However, he firmly believes that the Labour Party is not for sale and is not an extension of the ruling APC party. He reassured viewers that the party remains independent and focused on its goals.

The discussion also touched on the impact of the Obidient Movement on the Labour Party. FADOJOE acknowledged that Nigerians played a significant role in creating the Obidient Movement because of their strong desire for change. However, he was clear that Peter Obi would not secure the ADC ticket. Faduri explained that Atiku Abubakar is behind the formation of the Labour Party, and Nigerians will not support Peter Obi because he has formed coalitions with people’s who were once labeled corrupt by Obi himself.

Emphasizing the need for true change, Faduri concluded the interview by calling on Nigerians to come together and rescue the nation. He introduced the Rescue Movement for New Nigeria as the next important step toward achieving this goal.
