Terrorists Strike Kaduna Communities, Leaving Six Dead and 26 Kidnapped

Recent attacks by terrorists in Kaduna State have resulted in the deaths of at least six people and the abduction of twenty-six others. The assailants targeted the communities of Sabon Gida Libere, Ungwan Ganye, Ungwan Nabara, and Kadi within the Kauru Local Government Area.
According to Naija News, the attackers carried out a series of coordinated strikes, causing significant distress among local residents. Aminu Khalid, a local resident, reported in a phone interview on Wednesday that the terrorists first struck Sabon Gida Libere on Monday, killing one person and abducting twenty-three. The attacks in Ungwan Nabara resulted in three fatalities.
Khalid added that communication with the terrorists remains unestablished and many villages have been abandoned due to ongoing violence. He noted that the terrorists are believed to be hiding in the “Agwala forest” near Libere.
“Many communities are deserted, and those living in nearby villages cannot reach their farms. It is crucial for the government and military to clear the area where these terrorists are hiding to restore safety and confidence in the affected communities,” Khalid was quoted by The Punch.
As of now, the Kaduna State Police Command has not released an official statement on the attacks, according to N
aija News.
