Three suspects nabbed for assault, police recover ammunition

Three alleged robbers have been arrested in the Alhaji Shairu area of Ojo, Lagos State.
FIRST CLASS GISTS gathered that the incident occurred on January 22 at about 3:00pm.
It was also learnt that one Adebayo Abiodun, popularly known as Jam lock and one Alex Amidu, popularly known as Anthonia Esu, were taken into custody after the former and his group attacked one Davidson.
A police source told our correspondent that a team of police men were mobilised to the scene at about 7:00pm in search of the other fleeing members.
The arrest resulted in the recovery of one locally manufactured double-barrelled gun, one locally manufactured single barrelled gun, one live carriage, and one short clip.
When contacted by FIRST CLASS GISTS, the state Police Public Relations Officer, Benjamin Hundeyin, confirmed the incident to our correspondent while stating that the exhibit and the suspect would be transferred to the Ikeja command headquarters for further investigation.
He added, “The exhibit and the suspects will be transferred to the command headquarters in Ikeja for further investigation.”
Earlier, FIRST CLASS GISTS had reported that two notorious traffic robbers had been arrested in the Orile-Iganmu areas of Lagos State.
It was also learnt that the arrest was made after a tip-off by members of the public.
The DPO of Ijora Badia Division was said to have immediately mobilised his patrol team within the area. In the process, they were able to apprehend the duo of one Adura Babatunde, aged 28, and one Tunde Omose, aged 20, both of no fixed addresses.
