Tinubu Appoints Didi Walson-Jack as New Head of Service

Effective August 14, 2024, President Bola Tinubu has appointed Mrs. Didi Walson-Jack as the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation. This appointment was revealed through a statement from Ajuri Ngelale, the President’s Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, titled “President Tinubu Appoints New Head of Civil Service of the Federation.”
Walson-Jack will take over from Dr. Folashade Yemi-Esan, who will be retiring on August 13, 2024. Walson-Jack, who has held the position of Federal Permanent Secretary since 2017, has experience across various ministries.
In expressing gratitude to the outgoing Head of Service for her dedicated service, President Tinubu urged the new appointee to carry out her responsibilities with creativity, integrity, and strict adherence to the established rules and regulations of the Civil Service.
