Tinubu’s Spokesperson Ajuri Ngelale Resigns; See Reasons

Ajuri Ngelale, Special Adviser to President Bola Tinubu on Media and Publicity, has announced his resignation from his position, effective immediately.
In a statement released on Saturday, Ngelale revealed that he had notified the Chief of Staff to the President, Femi Gbajabiamila, of his decision to take an indefinite leave. He has also stepped down from his roles as Special Presidential Envoy on Climate Action and Chairman of the Presidential Steering Committee on Project Evergreen.
Ngelale explained that his departure is due to urgent medical issues affecting his immediate and extended family.
He stated, “On Friday, I submitted a memo to the Chief of Staff informing him of my need to take an indefinite leave to address pressing medical concerns within my family. Despite the importance of my duties, this difficult decision was made after thorough consultation with my family due to a worsening medical situation at home.”
Ngelale expressed his hope to return to his national duties once circumstances allow and requested privacy for himself and his family during this challenging time.
