Tragic Journey: 16 NYSC PCM of Adeyemi Federal University of Education Killed on Way to Gombe Camp

A devastating road accident has claimed the lives of 16 prospective corps members from Adeyemi Federal University of Education (AFUED), Ondo, who were traveling to the Gombe NYSC orientation camp. Two others are fighting for their lives in a nearby hospital. The students were in an 18-seater bus when the fatal crash occurred, cutting short their dreams of serving the nation. Emergency officials have recovered the bodies, and investigations are underway to determine the cause of the accident. The incident has plunged AFUED into mourning, with staff, students, and families grieving the loss of the young Nigerians.
