Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca has removed Trevor Chalobah from the first-team squad. The 25-year-old defender, who was not included in the pre-season tour, has acknowledged that his future is likely to be away from Stamford Bridge.
Chalobah, a product of Chelsea’s academy, is reportedly drawing interest from Aston Villa and Crystal Palace. He has been training with the Under-21 squad and participated in their friendly against Boreham Wood.
According to The Telegraph, Chalobah is not alone; Armando Broja and Romelu Lukaku have also been moved to the Under-21 team, signaling their potential departure from the club.
