On Wednesday at Eagles Square, President Tinubu tripped and fell while attempting to step into the back of a parade vehicle during the June 12 Democracy Day celebrations.

The incident saw Mr. Tinubu fall face down. It remains unclear from the footage whether his flowing agbada caused him to misstep or if an unsteady gait due to possible health issues contributed to the fall.
The guards surrounding him were unable to prevent the fall, leading to him hitting the floor of the vehicle.
