Abia’s Ada Eme represents Nigeria at 71st Miss World
EneNigerian model and the winner of the 2022 edition of the Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria, Ada Eme of Abia state is representing Nigeria at the 71st Miss World pageant.
The beauty pageant will bring together 120 contestants from different countries across the world.
This year’s Miss World kicked off on February 18, featuring a three-week schedule of events held at multiple locations, including the Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi.
African countries competing for the prestigious crown include Nigeria, Angola, Botswana, Cameroon, Cote D’ivoire, Ethiopia, Ghana, Guinea, Guinea Bissau, and Kenya.
Others are Liberia, Lesotho, Morocco, Senegal, Sierra Leone, Somalia, South Africa, Togo, Uganda, and Zimbabwe, among others.
Participants will engage in various competitions and charitable initiatives, as they compete for the prestigious crown and title.
Eme, entrepreneur and beauty pageant titleholder ‘Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria (MBGN)’ in 2022, will be representing Nigeria in the contest.
The 25-year-old model is from Amaogudu Abiriba in Ohafia local government area of Abia state.
She currently works as an events organiser and is studying for a degree in Peace and Conflict.
Eme has set up a scholarship called ‘Ada Goes to School’, providing 100 scholarships for children.
Her life motto is: “Don’t tell me the sky is the limit when there are footsteps on the moon”.
The grand finale will be held at the Jio World Convention Centre in Mumbai, India on Saturday, March 9.
