CONGRATULATORY MESSAGE TO THE ELENDE OF EKO-ENDE ON HIS ELEVATION

On behalf of my family, the people of Osun Central Senatorial District, and the All Progressives Congress (APC), I extend my warmest congratulations to His Royal Majesty, Oba Abdulwaheed Babatunde Adekunle (FCA), Ayunawa IV, the Elende of Eko-Ende, on his elevation to the Deputy Chairmanship of the Osun State Council of Obas.

Your Majesty, this distinguished appointment is a fitting recognition of your exemplary service to Eko-Ende, your steadfast commitment to the welfare of your people, and your invaluable contributions to the preservation and advancement of the traditional institution in Osun State.

As a respected monarch and accomplished professional, you have demonstrated that traditional leadership remains a vital instrument of unity, stability, community development, and responsible public engagement. Through your leadership, you have shown that the preservation of culture and heritage can go hand-in-hand with the pursuit of economic opportunity, social progress, and improved living conditions for the people.

Your consistent advocacy for critical infrastructure, particularly the reconstruction of the Ikirun–Ogbomoso road and completion of the bridge over the Oore/Ilie River, reflects a clear understanding of the transformative role infrastructure plays in connecting communities, expanding commerce, strengthening security, and unlocking the full potentials of our people.

This elevation is not only a great honour for Your Majesty and the people of Eko-Ende, it is also a significant opportunity for Osun State. It places your wisdom, experience, and developmental vision at the service of the wider traditional institution and the collective progress of our communities.

I am confident that Your Majesty will discharge this important responsibility with dignity, fairness, courage, and integrity for which you are renowned. I also trust that Your Majesty will continue to serve as a strong and principled voice for Eko-Ende, Osun Central, and the broader interests of our people.

May Almighty God grant Your Majesty enduring health, abundant wisdom, and many more fruitful years on the throne as you undertake this noble responsibility.

Congratulations, Your Majesty.

Long live the Elende of Eko-Ende!
Long live the traditional institutions of Osun State!
Long live the Federal Republic of Nigeria!
