Tinubu Urges Universities to Spearhead Anti-Corruption Efforts
President Bola Tinubu emphasized the pivotal role of Nigerian universities in combating corruption during the combined convocation ceremony of the Federal University Gusau (FUGUS) in Gusau.
Represented by Prof. Lawal Bilbis, Vice-Chancellor of Usmanu Danfodiyo University, Sokoto, Tinubu stressed that universities, being centers of learning, must take the lead in addressing corruption and other societal challenges in Nigeria.
He stated, “This administration has increased budgetary allocations to education, defense, humanitarian, and health sectors due to their paramount importance. We remain committed to finding lasting solutions to insecurity in the country.”

tudents.
