Nigerian Singer Harrysong To Face Police Detention on Monday; See Reasons
The Lagos Police have been probing a case of cyberstalking and defamation involving Harrysong. Sources indicate that the defamation concerns a well-known music star who previously collaborated with Harrysong.
An official invitation letter, signed by the Assistant Director of the Nigeria Police Force’s National Cybercrime Center (NPF-NCCC), Lagos Annex, requested Harrysong’s presence for an interview on May 29, 2024, as part of the ongoing investigation.
Harrysong confirmed receipt of the letter, stating his intention to comply with the request. “I have received the invitation letter and I will be attending the interview as requested,” he said.
While the exact allegations remain unclear, insiders suggest that Harrysong may indeed be detained on Monday. The investigation appears to be linked to a past, widely publicized dispute between Harrysong and the alleged defamation
victim.
