Gunmen Attack Club in Gwarinpa, Abuja: DJ Bash Fatally Shot
In the early hours of this morning, a tragic incident occurred at a club in Gwarimpa, Abuja, where gunmen attacked and killed a DJ known as DJ Bash. Despite the close proximity of a police station, the authorities were not alerted in time to prevent this senseless act.
The Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Police Public Relations Officer, SP Josephine Adeh, stated that an investigation is underway and assured the public that the police are “on top of the situation.” SP Adeh urged residents to remain vigilant and to report any suspicious activities immediately.
“We advise residents to always be conscious of their surroundings. When you notice suspicious activity, call the police immediately, and we will respond swiftly,” SP Adeh emphasized.

Additionally, there are reports that the Volcano Peak Hotel on 4th Avenue in Gwarinpa was also robbed last night. During this incident, the robbers shot and killed an individual. Some hotel guests managed to track one of the stolen phones, but there are concerns about the police’s response time.
