Federal Government Repatriates 190 Nigerians from UAE

The Federal Government has successfully repatriated 190 Nigerians from the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
The returnees arrived at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport in Abuja at approximately 5:57 am yesterday, where they were welcomed by officials from the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) and other government agencies.
In a statement issued in Abuja, NEMA Director-General Zubaida Umar urged the returnees to conduct themselves with civility. The statement, signed by NEMA Northcentral Zonal Director Bashir Idris Garga on behalf of the Director-General, confirmed the repatriation and detailed the reception process.
“The Federal Government has facilitated the return of 190 Nigerians from the United Arab Emirates. They arrived at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport in Abuja early this morning at 5:57 am and were received by a team of government officials led by NEMA,” the statement read.
Upon arrival, the returnees underwent profiling and documentation by relevant agencies and were advised to maintain decorum and responsibility as they reintegrate into Nigerian society.
