Peter Obi Does Not Support Labour Party’s Manifesto, Says Reno Omokri

Reno Omokri, a socio-political activist and former presidential aide, has asserted that Peter Obi, the Labour Party’s 2023 presidential candidate, does not endorse the party’s manifesto.
Omokri contends that Obi aligns more with the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
In a post on X, Omokri stated: “I will support President Tinubu’s policies that are also in the Peoples Democratic Party manifesto. I will do so proudly and patriotically.
“Even Peter Obi was placed on the 2019 PDP ticket through my efforts, by the grace of God. He cannot deny this as I have meticulously kept paper records. Peter Obi does not even believe in the official Labour Party manifesto. He is more politically attuned to us in the PDP.
“During elections, politicians and their strategists will attack each other. This is all part of how politics is played. After elections, we shift from battleground to common ground. There are no permanent friends or enemies in politics. However, with death threats to my child and their leader’s silence on the matter, there is permanent enmity.
“Peter Obi will NEVER be President of Nigeria, and we will ensure that even if he returns to the PDP, he will NEVER get on our ticket. Beyond this, we are moving forward with one Nigeria.”
