See the disease that Joe Biden, US President Contracts that makes him to Cancels Campaign Event

US President, Joe Biden

President Joe Biden has tested positive for Covid-19, leading to the cancellation of a scheduled speaking engagement at the UnidosUS annual conference in Las Vegas on Wednesday afternoon, according to a White House announcement.

Developing symptoms just before his appearance, Biden’s cancellation was confirmed by Janet Murguía, president and CEO of UnidosUS, who informed attendees of the abrupt change. White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre later confirmed the diagnosis, stating: “Earlier today following his first event in Las Vegas, President Biden tested positive for Covid-19.”

Jean-Pierre reassured the public that the president, who is vaccinated and boosted, is experiencing mild symptoms. Biden will return to Delaware to self-isolate while continuing to perform his presidential duties. Regular updates on his health status will be provided by the White House.

This development comes amid intense scrutiny of Biden’s re-election campaign, with increasing calls for him to step down due to concerns over his age and cognitive sharpness. Notably, California congressman and Senate candidate Adam Schiff publicly urged Biden to end his campaign, with similar sentiments reportedly expressed by Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer.

Following the positive test result, Biden was observed slowly boarding Air Force One to return to Delaware. He assured reporters he was feeling well despite the diagnosis.

Jean-Pierre included a note from Biden’s doctor detailing his symptoms, which included a runny nose, a non-productive cough, and general malaise. The president has begun treatment with the antiviral drug Paxlovid and will isolate in accordance with CDC guidelines. PCR confirmation testing is pending, but Biden’s symptoms are reported to remain mild.

This marks Biden’s second bout with Covid-19, having previously contracted the virus in 2022.
